Andy Sherman is a growth-focused advisor, strategist, and operator with a 20+ year track record of helping Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and technology companies scale revenue, improve profitability, and drive enterprise value.

As the leader of the MSP Profits Team at Whitman Transition Advisors, Andy works with MSPs to craft and execute go-to-market strategies, structure high-performing sales organizations, and prepare for premium exits. He serves clients in roles ranging from Fractional Chief Revenue Officer to strategic planning coach, integrating closely with WTA’s M&A team when growth leads to acquisition opportunities.

Andy’s experience spans the full lifecycle of business growth—from startup to IPO, turnaround to acquisition. He led one MSP from inception to $100 million in revenue and a successful IPO in just four years, building the sales team from scratch. In another role, he doubled revenue as VP of Sales and COO and helped lead the company through a strategic exit, later serving as GM and CMO of the $90 million merged entity.

Earlier in his career, Andy held sales and management positions at IBM and Apple, and served as CEO of two struggling software firms, leading both to profitable exits through turnaround efforts.

A certified Black Belt from the Simple AI Academy, Andy brings the latest in AI-powered sales enablement and automation to his advisory practice. He helps clients leverage AI to accelerate execution, unlock insights, and scale with precision.
